Solar power generation initiatives
Case 1: Toyama Factory
Based on an awareness of the environment and CSR being the most important issues, Shikibo works to reduce energy usage and waste and promotes recycling. As part of this, Shikibo has made use of unused land on the grounds of the Toyama Factory and built a mega solar facility that boasts a maximum output of approximately 2,400kW (planned), and has been involved in the solar power generation business since 2014. Through our initiatives to promote and expand renewable energy, we will increase our contribution to society.
Case 2: Nagano Works
We have been operating solar power generation facilities for self-consumption at the Nagano Works from December 2022 with the goal of reducing CO2 emissions. These power generation facilities generate renewable energy that is equivalent to roughly 13% of the electricity used at Nagano Works.
